SEXY IMPERFECTIONS #3
Awakening the Wild & Tender Body
🗓️ 30 April – 4 May 2026 | Thursday afternoon to Monday noon
a 4-day residential workshop blending:

✦ Theatre & Dance

✦ Burlesque

✦ Clowning

✦ Somatic Intimacy
Spring arrivesnot by force, but by couragethe courage to emergefrom the unknown,to allow yourselfto be seen, to open, and to bloom.
Blooming is not neat. It is lush, imperfect, and unapologetically alive. In this workshop, we accompany the emergence of your wild and tender body, inviting what is ready to show up and be expressed.
Through play, exploration, and witnessing, we fertilise the soil of our creative selves. This is a space to shed old skins — cultural scripts, protective habits, inherited shame — rewild your body, and let warmth touch places long kept in the dark.
This immersive experience invites you to explore sensuality, pleasure, and imperfection through creative, embodied practices. Whether you’re an experienced performer, a shy strawberry, or an unapologetic weirdo, there’s space here for all your identity expressions.

What makes this workshop so special?
We believe this unique intersection of performing arts sparks creativity and self-discovery, while a focus on intimacy and sensuality invites deep personal transformation. The methodology offered is a distinctive, authored approach.
Working with a small group and three facilitators, we offer attentive care and presence, creating space for personal processes and creation, one-to-one support, safety, and genuine connection with the group.
A taste of what we explore:
- Create an intentional and supportive space, guided by SOMATICS and EMBODIED INTIMACY
- Play with the elements of burlesque to empower and rewild your seductive self
- Present a performative act in a final grandiose CABARET SHOW
- Explore SELF-LOVE and WITNESSING each other through this practice
- Experience the power of PSYCHOMAGIC in the context of consent
- Through a legendary CLOWNING SEXY SCHOOL, we’ll playfully deconstruct stereotypes of seduction
- Craft DIY NEW GENITALIA to expand imagination through absurdity

Our journey will take place at SerVivo, a creative community in the Arrábida Natural Park, Portugal. Known as a venue which holds space for human development through art, dance, meditation.

Educator • Community Artist • Performer
Justi is an educator, community artist, and performer with a BA in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Adult Education for Social Change. With over a decade of experience in community arts, in her creative work, she draws inspiration from burlesque, clowning, butoh, ballroom culture, theatre improvisation, and the work of Bill Plotkin.
Her methodology, Burlesco Wacko, has been presented at gatherings and festivals in Germany, Cyprus, and Portugal. It invites participants to explore seductive self-expression through playful dance, theatre, and performance.
In a daring space where weirdness and failure are celebrated, you are invited to discover your “seductive wacko”. By exploring the performative nature of sexuality, we will delve into our (un)conscious desires and fears, unlocking new possibilities for artistic inspiration. By shedding the skin of learned habits, we can witness each other in an utterly silly, yet deeply meaningful, creative process.

Somatic Practitioner • Dancer and Choreographer • Performer
Dani is a facilitator of Contact Improvisation workshops and retreats, with a rich background in contemporary dance and choreography. Her work explores improvisation, the power of pleasure, and relational healing. In September 2025, she graduated as a SOMA Intimacy Practitioner after a two-year intensive training in embodied sexuality.
Rooted in a somatic approach, Dani shares tools for regulation and creates a soft space that holds the workshop together with care and supports personal processes to unfold.
Participants will be invited to explore the practice of self-love and the potency of witnessing others, moving between authentic gestures and the experience of being seen to tap into a deeper quality of presence.

Clown • Visual Artist • Art Director
With over 11 years in the creative industry, Riccardo combines art direction and visual arts with the playful spontaneity of clowning. His work focuses on reconnecting people with their innate creativity, inviting them to embrace the joy of artistic expression. From street performances to animated collages, he explores the beauty of imperfection and the magic of collective creation.
Have you ever wanted to connect more deeply with yourself, transforming flaws and vulnerabilities into powerful resources? The clown offers a unique perspective—a non-conventional master who shows us how to live life as a comedy, filled with authenticity and joy.
In his workshop, participants will explore through the clown’s methodology, how to access a state of creative presence. By resourcing from the emotional body the participants will learn the magic power of failures as tools for growth. The clown’s honesty in expressing feelings transforms difficulties into opportunities, turning life into a joyful performance.

Somatic approach means that we are creating a space that is anchored in a deep listening to our bodies.
No, the workshop will not involve temple spaces or any other activities that would lead to sexual interactions during the practices. We consider the workshop to be sex-positive, consent-based, and focused on embodied experience rather than sexual performance. However, being sex-positive does not mean that having sex in public spaces is encouraged during this workshop.
No prior experience is required.
All practices are optional and consent-based. Nudity is welcome if justified and with the participants’ consent. It is not required in any of the exercises.Â
Some practices may involve touch, always with clear consent and choice. Nonetheless, most of the practices are focused on witnessing eachother, not on touch and physical contact.
While the processes we offer have a huge potential of healing and are trauma-informed, the space we create is not suitable for deep individual trauma work.
Yes. The space is very much queer-inclusive and gender-expansive, and we are always happy to learn and expand our facilitation based on the diversity that comes from each group.
